Certificate of Good conduct

Application for a certificate good conduct (Police Clearance) is made online through eCitizen platform (Directorate of criminal investigation; Police Clearance).

You will need to download Finger and Palm print form during the application, then visit your nearest Garda station for your fingerprints to be taken.

Please note that you may be charged for that service. Further, you are required to download, print and present to the Embassy a copy of your payment invoice (government copy).

Once you have your fingerprints taken, visit the Embassy during working hours with the following;

·        Application form duly filled

·        Formal request letter addressed to the Ambassador requesting for the service

·        Finger and Palm prints taken at the nearest police station (Garda)

·        Copy of your passport (must be valid) and National Identity Card

·        Passport size colour photograph

·      For Foreign Applicants, documentary proof that the applicant ever resided in Kenya for at least 6 months continuously without leaving the country: copies of passport pages bearing the entry and exit endorsements by Kenya authorities. Other additional supportive documentary evidence (where applicable) may include Work/ residence permits, letters of appointment/employment, Dependant Passes, etc. Students are required to produce passport entry/exit endorsements by Kenya authorities; copies of Student Passes accompanied with relevant testimonials and/or certificates proving completion of the Studies.
